Carrbridge & Vicinity Community Council meets on the last Thursday of every month, except December, in the Village Hall at 7:30pm to discuss affairs pertinent to the residents and to conduct community business.

While the Community Council has no executive power it is a statutory consultee of the local authority and is therefore able to influence decisions at a local level.

The Community Council runs a number of events such as the Dulnain River Duck Race, Carve Carrbridge, (the international chainsaw carving competition) and The World Porridge Championships. All the money raised is used to fund local projects and village improvements.

Members of the public are welcome to attend.
