It goes without saying that the surrounding area is a mecca for mountain bikers from around the UK and beyond but the ares is also a good base from which to experience the quieter more peaceful side of road touring. The Sustrans Inverness – Perth cycle route #7 comes right through Carrbridge, passing right by The Slochd on its way.
