As well as having its own pony trekking centre, bowling green and challenging nine hole golf course, Carrbridge is the perfect base for a whole range of outdoor activities within the heart of the Cairngorms National Park with everything from fishing, bird watching and hill walking to mountain biking, sailing and canoeing. There is also the opportunity for every kind of snowsport with the whole area well known for its reputation as a popular summer and winter tourist destination with a whole host of activities going on right through the year.
The surrounding area is a veritable garden of eden for bird and wildlife watchers. The Local pine forests are home to crossbills, crested tits, red squirrels and deer. While nearby areas provide summer habitats for snipe, greenshanks, oyster catchers, lapwings and too many more to mention. You have a good chance of seeing Eagles, Ospreys or Peregrin Falcons too.
It goes without saying that the surrounding area is a mecca for mountain bikers from around the UK and beyond but the ares is also a good base from which to experience the quieter more peaceful side of road touring. The Sustrans Inverness - Perth cycle route #7 comes right through Carrbridge, passing right by The Slochd on its way. This is part of the national cycle network for those interested in more adventurous, multi-day excursions
With The Rivers Spey and Findhorn only a few miles away and The River Dulnain flowing through the village, Carrbridge offers convenient access to some of the best salmon fishing in the country.
With dozens of 18 hole courses within an hour radius of the village, including a couple of world class courses. Carrbridge can serve as the home base for a highland golfing safari. The 9 hole Carrbridge Golf Club offers a challenging round for any player and some inspiring views of the Cairngorms to the south.

With the Cairngorms only 30 mins away Carrbridge is a perfect choice for a long weekend ski trip for those who want to avoid the hustle and bustle of Aviemore.
Limitless hillwalking surrounds the Village on all sides with some of the highest mountains in the UK less than half an hour away. In the village itself there are forest and river side walks.
Climbers can find challenging single pitch crags in all directions and big multi pitch classics in the Cairngorms and Monadliaths.

We are a friendly club and visitors are always welcome. It is often advisable to book a tee time in advance and if there is a large group of you we would appreciate prior confirmation of numbers and if you require any catering.
Delightful clubhouse providing drinks, snacks, lunches. We can provide a 3 or 4 course dinner for groups if pre-booked. Open 8.30am to 5.30pm in the summer months.
A round of golf will cost you anything from £12.00 to £25.00 depending on if you want a quick 9 hole round or if you would like to play all day. There are concessions for children and also a family ticket is available.
